CS6 is a stable version for everyone to use. CC is a "beta" version. They upgrade CC's weekly to add new features and everything. Usually leads to CS7 after.

Something that affects what's crashing for you. Actually, a better idea would be to install "CrashReporter" from Cydia and see what's causing the crashes.
