You shouldn't be purchasing VIP for just one hack. What happens if the developers completely patch the hack or I'm unable to update it anymore?

Today, tomorrow, maybe never? I haven't seen anyone reporting any bans. But that doesn't mean they won't happen. Try not to use online.
