It's working fine here and for others. If you're Jailbroken, use iCleaner and reinstall the app.

I just tested it again and it's working. If it worked before it should work now also since nothing else is changed other than the password. It should actually work even better since not a lot have the new password.

This is not as harmful as removing your whole Keychains-2.db file. You're simply modifying the databases tables related to the game which won't affect your system. Nobody has reported them messing up their iDevice by doing this so far and I've tested it myself and it worked fine.
