As with you, I have given up the hacking mantle. It is something we're all probably going to do after a while (there is no escaping that, life is life after all). As university lingers ever so closer, all I can say to you is good luck!
I am also edging closer to university, and I have already replaced hacking with more practical things like web and mobile development. Although hacking was a hobby (and a fun one at that), I feel like I've matured from the experience enough to leave it behind once I graduate.
I am kinda sad you didn't mention me in your post (I won't hold a grudge, maybe ), but I'll make sure to not forget you when I make my farewell topic (which should be in about a year from now, when I graduate). Wish you all the best, and I hope you have a bright and successful future!
