The folder locations have changed in iOS 8. If the hack tells you to upload to /AppName/Documents/, in iOS 8 you need to go to /var/mobile/Containers/Data/Application/ find the name of your app (I suggest Filza) and paste the hack inside there. -

I've been told apple is still signing iOS 8.1 Upgrade now while you still can. You can also now Jailbreak iOS 8.1.1! http://iosgods.com/topic/2871-tutorial-how-to-jailbreak-ios-811-82-beta-using-taig-jailbreak/

Stay with Pangu Jailbreak on 8.1. If you're on 8.1.1 then Jailbreak with TaiG.

Do you still have the Applications symlink in /var/mobile/? If yes, delete it. Do your System Apps show?
