That icon means that iPhone is able to use a TTY device. This function is off by default, and if you want to turn it off or on, go to Settings > Phone > TTY. http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201906

Was your iPhone 5 Jailbroken before erasing it? Resetting all settings with Cydia installed causes problems.

I TeamViewerd him and Incognito Mode works fine with the forum so I had him use CCleaner to clear his browsers cache, history, downloads and everything. It didn't work straight away but then Goggwell contacted me via PM that his problem is no more after a day. If anyone else experiences any other problems around the forum, let me know!
