You don't install this hack on your Mac, you install this on your iPhone which should be Jailbroken.

You do this on your iPhone. Get iFile from Cydia and get Cydia from Jailbreaking your iDevice.

Yeah, iTunes installs the necessary files for your phone to communicate with your PC. Close iTunes when Jailbreaking.
