I think you may need to use a adblocking VPN like AdGuard or DNSCloak. These are what I know of, perhaps other users have other useful information!

Are you using Dopamine jailbreak? They seem to have an issue with hooks right now from our experience.

I just tested on palera1n rootless and it works fine for me. Using iGameGod "Normal Install". I suspect you have an issue with your jailbreak and restoring rootFS and rejailbreaking may help.

This tutorial does not involve Sileo. You need to use iGameGod to convert & install rootful hacks onto rootless jailbreaks. Sileo does not do any conversions like iGameGod does.
