Which part is buggy? Can you post it here: There's no more thanks button. There's only reputation buttons now which is basically the same thing.

Content Feed is automatically refreshed every 60 or so seconds. So you don't need to keep refreshing the page. Alternatively, you can set up your own person Activity Stream and follow that which also automatically refreshes.

Are your keys correct and hooked up to the same name?

Considering that it contains important information, no.
