To my knowledge, you cannot add instructions to a function unless you code cave. You can edit, however. And editing is what most cheaters do.

You can get FlexConverter working by simply creating a symlink since FlexConverter looks for Flex 2's patches.plist location. All you have to do is create a symlink that links it to Flex 3's .plist location.
