Hey your daddy has finally decided to write a tutorial for you, this is for those who's stuck on what to hack insided IDA By the way you should already know how to crack a binary,dumb binary and load it into ida if you don't this isn't meant for you. I'd say unity game is the easiest game hacking, why you asked? because so once you get hang of it your you're basically doing the same things over and over again. let's talk about what you are really here for hacking inside ida, first of let's talk about functions. what is function? I will not answer this because you should already what functions are and what it does. although I WILL explain little bit about functions. so what's the first you do after you load the binary and the script.py into ida you look start to search for functions name right this is what im here for, i'm sure you are having trouble with what function to look for and what to hack inside that function. so earlier what I meant by this "your you're basically doing the same things over and over again." is there will be functions that will look similar and have same ida instructions. lets say we want to hack coin: we search for Coin and we got one of these $AddCoin or $IncreaseCoin or $GiveCoin or $RewardCoin what i'm trying to say here is its all the same, the names might be little bit different but if you click on and look inside the the instruction I will guarantee you that you will find a ADD instructions and that's what you want to hack it. My whole point of making this was to tell you that unity games has similar functions names like those above and their instructions are same too so its like hacking the same thing over and over again. another example would be: $RemoveCoin or $decreaseCoin or $TakeCoin or $DeleteCoin. All of this functions SUB's or takes the coin away from the player and therefore you should be looking for a SUB instruction to hack inside ida. I want to relate this with my game hacking experience, when I started game hacking I didn't knew anything so what I would do is go around asking people for help without trying and what they would do is told me to go try it and I never understood why but now I'm really happy they told me that because trying is the best thing you can do for game hacking. if you think a function looks useful then try it don't just look at it and go round asking people if its usefull or not. you really have to try it on your own and test it using shmoo menu.
