So there was this tutorial of the game called fragger and how it was hacked in some different way maybe it was called some kind of injection where when you open up the game you are asked how many credits you want in your account and you can input the values there, i don't know what this method is called. Can anyone show me the link to that tutorial? i searched a lot but couldn't find it. You time and help would be greatly appreciated.

how can you find out that it's sub_x? Well there are a lot of sub functions in functions window,does that mean the game is a sub_X game? what should i do to hack sub_x? yes i searched through text as well . Please help me. i did and nothing happens, i am using IDA PRO Advanced edition.

So i cracked the game called as Friendbase using clutch, loaded it's binary into ida and it has successfully loaded everything but i can't find the desired function for example "gems","stars" , when i press ALT+T it does start searching when i enter something but it says the search will be slow and it takes forever to search . Can anyone please help me out through teamviewer about how ida is used? Your time and help would be greatly appreciated

i do know about IDA, yep it's good but will it be good for a mini project? I mean will they find it challenging ? I do need to tell them from scratch during presentation how IDA works ? right? and setting breakpoints ? it will take 10 minutes i guess to make a hack in front of them or should i keep it ready and present it to them and tell them how it was made overall?
