  1. Don't think you can restore Cydia with Filza , you have no SSH access and this is a problem.

In order to fix your issue you need to be able to SSH into your device with root access , right now your device is in a non-Jailbroken state so root is not available.

So here is a suggestion :

    Download :

    Cydia Impactor- http://www.cydiaimpactor.com/

With this tool you can restore the device to factory settings without updating current iOS.

Run the tool and restore the device to Stock iOS.

Once you have your device running stock iOS install the Yalu jailbreak.

Please do read all other options that are posted , this will fix your issue but you may achieve it quicker with another method.

Personally I would like to start "Fresh" after an incident such as this , I like to rid the device of any previous issues as it might just happen again.

  2. yeah boss e.e

    All right!

Font is Still quite dark , you need people to be able to read the tutorial clearly , I know we all like a fancy post but the font needs to be clearly visible, try not to use gray , I use the "Dark Theme" on the forum and I can hardly read step 1.

    That's what I see !

  3. Not many but 'some' tweaks require a 'reboot' after installation.

Now, if that tweak isn't compatible with you're current iOS and you tap the 'reboot' on the Cydia screen, you fall into some problems that you might not get out of.

Normally, if a non-compatible tweak that requires a reboot doesnt work, the iDevice will be kicked into Safe Mode where you can uninstall the recently installed tweak ..... But for the current jailbreak, if that tweak is incompatible, it will cause such a problem.

Hacks/tweaks only require a respring when the newly installed directly affects the interface.

So when you install command-line only functionality there is no need to respring.

jailbreak apps/tweaks/hacks hook into the springboard to be able to control views that get displayed or user interactions, it requires a respring to "update" the Springboard/Settings.

Like how you need to respring every time you change a theme , it's simply to update the system, introducing the new app/tweak/hack to you're device can not be done while the device is running.

    You're Qusetion was :

what do you do if you need to reboot to make the deb/hack etc work if your on a tethered device?

    The answer is :

Check that the tweak is compatible with you're current iOS and reboot.

  4. Leechers are exactly what there given title says leechers , you can't stop them , slow them down and make joining the forum harder yes but stop is a long shot , to keep track of said leecher would consume time , Admin and Staff time , I'm sure they have better things to do than track a leecher and if they want it they will find a way to get it regardless of what we do , best thing to do is just name the culprit , VIP can be removed from his account just as quick as he got it and his IP can be banned if it needs to be.

This thread is only giving him the option to change who he is now , he knows who he is and you just gave him the heads up , this should have been a PM to Admin or Staff.

  5. I need help to remove some hacks ive installed in cydia substrate

Removing Cydia Substate will only disable the tweaks you have installed , you don't install to Cydia substrate , Cydia substrate is a dependency for almost every tweak you use.

  6. You need the certificate , can't trust the source with no cert , no trust no JB !

You need to install the Pangu App or run the PP Helper JB method again to get the cert back.

    Download Pangu App : http://en.pangu.io/

    Download Cydia Impactor : http://www.cydiaimpactor.com/

Sideload Pangu with Impactor and run the App.

Tap Settings > General > Device Management.

You then see a profile for the developer under your “apple ID” heading.

Tap the profile to establish trust for this developer.

(An Internet connection is required to verify the app developer's certificate when establishing trust.)

On your device, find Pangu App and run it

  7. It not temp or temporary it's "Semi tethered"

SemiTethered jailbreak is normally a tethered jailbreak with a package installed that allows you to reboot with limited use. You must perform a tethered boot to regain full functionality to your jailbroken device.

The link works fine on every device I have used it on.

No one uses the app no more !

  8. Is it also a temp jb?

    What ?

Mate you're Pangu app is out of date no longer working but you do not need the app on 9.3.3 you just need the above link to re enable JB after reboot.

As you already had jailbreak, you also can install Pangu which will just re-activate the jailbreak and give you a new icon on your phone in case of it reboot again to jailbreak without computer.

    Have fun.

You don't need the app LOL

TAP GO AND YOU ARE DONE !

  9. I wouldn't say "it is best for you to jailbreak you're device" I would say it's up to you , not all hacks require a jailbreak , yes some Jailbroken hacks are better than the non-Jailbroken hacks but that don't make it "best" to jailbreak.

  10. Here at iOSGods we provide a selection of Paid and Free hacks for Jailbroken and non-Jailbroken devices , to be able to use some of the hacks provided at iOSGods you do not require a jailbreak , some hacks though will require you to jailbreak you're device.

Jailbreaking a device is down to the device owner , if you wish to jailbreak then do so but before you do please read up on jailbreaks as each iOS may have a different tool you need to use for example iOS 7 can be Jailbroken via Evasi0n but iOS 8 will require Pangu same as iOS 9 , the iOS 10 Jailbreak requires the new Yalu tool , some ios's can not be Jailbroken and Apple have stopped signing certain ios's and a jailbreak is just not possible for some users , please do read a good tutorial before you attempt to jailbreak you're device and do not hesitate to ask if you need any help.
