Can you give us a quick explanation of how you installed the binary and the hack?

If you chose the tweak .deb file, you do not need to activate anything in settings. However, make sure your Cydia Substrate is version 0.9.6011 for any cheats to work.

Downgrade Cydia Substrate to v0.9.6011.
