TaiG 2.1.0 is still in Beta. It wasn't meant for everyone to jailbreak using that since it caused an issue where all the Home Screen Icons would disappear. I don't think you'll be able to fix this without any file managers or AFC & OpenSSH installed. You will need to re-jailbreak.

You were supposed to reboot after you install it to take effect. Then reinstall Cydia Substrate and PrederenceLoader just incase. -Edit- You should now receive the update on Cydia. No need to install the .deb manually.

Sync something via iTunes or do a hard reboot by holding home + power for 8 seconds. And the Jailbreak tool you used was still in Beta. That's why you have this issue.

Re-download the deb file again and download it properly. Make sure there's no running apps in Multitasking also.

Go to a repair/service shop before buying anything and get some information on unlocking the device. I'm not sure if those Gevey Sims work anymore.

AppCake as an app, yes. But you cannot install anything since it requires AppSync.

There are online services claiming that they can unlock it but it's not cheap. It varies ~ £100 - £150 You can also go to the place where you bought it and ask your carrier on how to unlock.

It doesn't magically make all the tweaks work though. It just adds support for iOS 8.3.
