I don't think you'll be able to play the game with no internet connection.

Can you download the file completely and open it on your PC using a VPN? Meh, just wait a few days. Maybe it'll solve itself. If it doesn't, contact your ISP.

Even if it was different, setting it to default shouldn't be a problem just for MediaFire. Have you tried another browser? Maybe Internet Download Manager?
