Flex is for basic hacks and won't be able to hack every single game. IDA on PC on the other hand can do more than flex.

Authors don't win anything from cracked apps unless they've implemented domething in their app which can generate revenue other than selling it. Free paid apps are mostly for trial use. That jailbreak was for 8.2 Beta which has now stopped being signed by Apple so I don't think you can update to it...
