Your only option is 8.4. Apple is no longer signing iOS 8.3.

You can try PKGBackup or BackupAZ. But I suggest you re-install them.

Did you run iCleaner?

iFunBox has a Terminal. Try that. Login as root also before running that command. su alpine

Run iCleaner Pro to cleanup some files and try installing the .deb again. And you can remove CyDown using this terminal command: apt-get --purge remove com.repo.xarold.com.cydown

Great then! Download the .deb on your PC, then send it to /var/mobile/ using iFunBox and install it via iFile. Or even place it in iFunBox's Cydia AutoInstall option and reboot.

Try xCon maybe? Hides your Jailbreak from apps.

You need to install that Cydia .deb. Whether it's with iFile or any other way, you just need to install it successfully so you can continue with the rest of the tutorial. Re-try via iFile because I don't think you have Apple File Conduit 2 or OpenSSH installed on your device?

Why is this iPad only? It should work for both.

Can you download from your PC and send it to your iDevice?

MobileTerminal has been crashing ever since iOS 7, I think. I'd suggest you use iOS Terminal. It's better and has more features.
