    Is disabling the Windows Antivirus necessary for the process to work? Is it detecting anything inside the IPA? Also, a tip if you're using 7-Zip: it's easier if you open the IPA with 7-Zip and remove the folders directly so you can skip the renaming part.

    In a way yes, but you can do much more with MacBooks than on iOS. Unlike iOS, you can install pretty much all apps and customize many parts of the OS to your liking.
