Since i am doing Patch recently, actually i spend a lot of time on it...

Let me do a simple introduction on my first mod experiences.

My first game mod is "illusia 2" around 4-5 years ago.

I learn using gdb and ida for whole week and finally i done my first mod by using

: set*0xXXXXX=0x381C

7billon of gold done ~~~

 

During that time, every night i spend 3-6 hour to learn gdb and ida...
every night sleep around 2am, in the morning have to wake up to work..Lol.

    MS was always easy, even the beginning, but me trying to learn IDA is such a pain lol

     

    It was a tweak before, but I eventually learned to make it a patcher, which I used that patcher to make my own template with ^_^

    MS was always easy, even the beginning, but me trying to learn IDA is such a pain lol

     

    It was a tweak before, but I eventually learned to make it a patcher, which I used that patcher to make my own template with ^_^

    Couldnt have said it better myself. I learnt MS so easily too, IDA with subx games etc.. Is a huge step compared to MS.
