General Your first Mod / Tweak is ..?

Since i am doing Patch recently, actually i spend a lot of time on it...

Let me do a simple introduction on my first mod experiences.

My first game mod is "illusia 2" around 4-5 years ago.

I learn using gdb and ida for whole week and finally i done my first mod by using

: set*0xXXXXX=0x381C

7billon of gold done ~~~

 

During that time, every night i spend 3-6 hour to learn gdb and ida...
every night sleep around 2am, in the morning have to wake up to work..Lol.

I started making hacks with flex a couple of months ago but never made a tweak. Yesterday i made my first tweak: Betternet premium vpn

MS was always easy, even the beginning, but me trying to learn IDA is such a pain lol

 

It was a tweak before, but I eventually learned to make it a patcher, which I used that patcher to make my own template with

Couldnt have said it better myself. I learnt MS so easily too, IDA with subx games etc.. Is a huge step compared to MS.
