GFX Honest ideas?

Hey, so I worked a little bit on this, and I feel that the stars don't quite match, and the tree looks really fake.

But, I'd like all of your honest opinions.

I would like your honest opinions, please, if it sucks, say it sucks, but explain why it sucks. If it's good, please explain why it's good. Thanks.

I think the only thing that is bad is the white outline of the tree.

Here's what I'm thinking.

 

What you can try to do... Replace the sky that's in the tree picture, and simply replace it with the space picture. Then, make the tree and the ground slightly darker and see how that looks.

 

 

If you want to keep it how it is, just try making the tree slightly darker

How do I replace the background? I've tried looking it up and I can't figure out how.

Just crop it out. With either the magic wand, or erase tool.

Quick Selection is how I would do it, but you can also just use the Pen Tool for more precise selections

Yeah like what they said above. Using the quick selection tool or the magic wand tool, to highlight the white background behind the tree and delete it. Or you can also look for a render of the tree which doesn't have a white background, so It'll be much more easy to apply it onto the background because you wouldn't need to remove any access things. After you'd do that just change the color by crushing the blacks, or however you feel it'll look better. Other than that, nice work!

Once you delete the white background it'll just be transparent. But before you can edit an external image you have to rasterize the layer first.
