If you can't find the file in trash folder then it's gone. Restoring via iTunes will be your worst nightmare in terms of having hacks. Try using Cydia Impactor. It will restore your device into factory settings but stay at your current firmware for jailbreak purposes & for you to be happy. It fixes broken/removed system files by downloading those files from Apple server [download may take longer].

The permission thing is very critical so make sure you did it correctly. Double check to make sure. You may also try to respring your iDevice.

If it can't be extracted then that's already the file you need. Best is to PM the creator of that hack. Probably it doesn't work on certain device.

As per instruction, you need to extract the file you download & copy the binary file to the location mentioned then set permission to the binary file.

Which part of the instruction you didn't understand? If you follow the instruction correctly with the right version of the app then probably it's device related issue.

Just try to turn OFF then ON again FT & iMessage & wait for a few minutes. There's no reason why it should not activate after downgrade unless there's a problem with Apples server. You may also try to reboot your device. Regarding push notifications, try synching your device with iTunes.
