Does it also work with MobileSubstrate featured dylibs or generally not?

I partially know how to make IPA tweaks but can you also just inject random substrate dylibs from Cydia tweaks which only modify the app itself into the binary or do they need to be specifically made for this? Because there are IPAs which seem to be based on Cydia tweaks but maybe they were made with ZKSwizzle.
