There is a way for non Jailbroken to clean the apps cache, just start a really big download like a movie (8gb or so) which has to occupy more than the device's free space, it will start cleaning the cache than eventually say you don't have enough storage space, but it will have cleaned every one of your app's cache

I think the app might be only 64 bit compatible it showed that message to my 32 bit iPad too when trying to download from AppStore
