Sweet that’s good to know. I mentioned the app had to be used once without premium because in the past I had an issue using the hack if it was installed before the VPN profile was added, so I added that as a precaution/ best practice.

It’s changed. I won’t be using that site anymore for links. They used to be a lot simpler and more reliable.

I noticed since posting this, it seems the developer is removing full VIP access after a certain time period. If the full VIP stops working, you can try wiping the app memory and restoring the data again. If that doesn’t work, you can at least use the tweak for ad removal and privacy features. I think this may be raising red flags, lol.

Maybe check the bundleID, there’s a chance you might have a different one installed then the tweak was made for. The two bundle ID’s the tweak was compiled for are listed in the beginning of the thread. You can find the bundleID installed on your device by looking at the info.plist file inside the .app folder for MediaBoxHD in Filza. Also, I just added a way to get a full VIP crack.

Can you make a version of this for SpringBoard and System Wide tweaks plz? 🙏🏼 🤗 🙏🏼 Seriously, though, that’s an awesome accomplishment!

Can you elaborate? Does it crash? Are you getting ads? Have you started receiving a ton of spam text messages? Does it slow down after using it for a certain time period to an unusable speed? The only thing different that I noticed after disabling the tweak is that in the newest version they renamed VIP m3u to MBox m3u, and made it available to free users. The app previously required VIP for those ones, as well as FMPL, and others. Anyways, the tweak is working for me on iOS 13.5, 11.3.1, 13.2.2, 12.4.5 iPhones, and 13.3 iPad. It was never a full VIP, and it still has the HD streams that needed hacked in earlier app versions. I’m happy with the HighDef m3u streams, with no ads, no throttling, and knowing my device and personal info are better protected. Let me know if that clarifies what the tweak does, and if you still think it’s not working, make sure you installed from the source listed in the description. If by chance you have an issue I haven’t found on any of my test devices, let me know specifically what’s going on, and your device and firmware. I’ll look into it. Sorry for any confusion caused by them expanding what free users can access.

Updated the tweak to work on current app version that you can download from the website, as well as added compatibility for A12 and A13 devices. Working good for me on iOS 13.4.1 and 13.2.2, as well as 11.3.1 iPhones. Haven’t tested iPad yet but should work. Edit: tested on iPad on iOS 13.4.1 working good.

Just caught up CotoMovies to current app version and added A12 support, will start working on this one soon. If you have access to the older app version, from when this was made (the 2nd time), it still works great in the meantime. I was using it a lot until yesterday; I finally updated the app on my main device tho to force me to start working on the current version, and adding support for A12. Shouldn’t be too long.

That’s what I was wondering lol. Maybe they thought it was full VIP. It usually does give premium streams not normally available, but the one labeled “VIP” doesn’t. Ad removal is 100%. App works great on my X, 8+ and 6s+ on 11 and 12 UO. I have heard a couple ppl say they had an issue with iPad on Electra, tho. Not sure why. 🤔

Another user reported they think it’s an Electra-related issue, since I’m Uncover it worked. One hack might not be worth switching jailbreaks, but there are lots of better reasons to switch(that could fill another thread). You won’t lose tweaks or anything either, they made transition flawless to switch. It was for me at least.I just rejailbroke with UO, updated tools from there, and after respring was all good, had tweaks still installed and prefs saved.

@GamerXtz The latest version had preference bundle removed, as it wasn’t needed. You should be able to just open app after installing tweak (and resprining) and it should work. It was made on an iPhone plus, and tested on 6+, 6s+, 8+ and X. I don’t have an iPad to test on at the moment, but for all devices and iOS versions I tested on it worked. It sounds like maybe iPad has an issue. If you got a crash, you can DM me the Crash Log and it would help to see why only iPad is affected, so I can make an update for iPad. (If that’s the issue). Also not sure if it makes a difference but all the devices I tested on are using substrate at this point, and Uncover jailbreak. There’s a chance Electra might not support it. I haven’t even tried to keep up with Electra updates since making the switch to Uncover on iOS 11. I had tested on Electra for first version, but latest version was made with UnCover and only tested on Uncover devices.

What app version/ device / iOS are you on? I tested on 11.4 iPhone X, 11.3.1 iPhone 8+ for iOS 11, the newer version is the one you want. Can u also check in Cydia you have tweak version 0.0.2-1 installed? MediaBox version 2.3.3 from dtathemes.

Just tested on iOS 12.1.2, latest app V2.3.3 from dtathemes works great. The “premiumize” isn’t full VIP access, it just loads an extra high quality server you wouldn’t normally have access to. Sometimes it asks for capcha but not always. Not all movies, TV shows etc have the extra server but majority seem to. Anyways main feature of Full Ad Removal working 100% and also was able to use ChromeCast with it.

Sorry. Will check both questions (iOS 12 shouldn’t be an issue but will verify myself. I’ve been using CotoMovies more myself didn’t notice if there was an update and I batch updated... will install both app and tweak fresh on iOS 12 and let u know.

There’s a popup that says “user action required”. You can tap that, or go to direct stream and then tap the 2nd premium one. The one that says VIP does not work, but most movies/ tv shows have 2 premium streams, one labeled “VIP” and the other like “FMPL” or something like that. That is the one that works. You usually have to enter a Captcha once, but it works, and it doesn’t without the tweak. I wish it was full VIP, but the 2nd set of premium streams do load and play.

That is so cool. I really need to learn how to do non-JB tweaks (besides save games). Might have to dig in to tutorials again when I have time. It’s like, I kind of know, but it’s uncharted territory for me. Would love to make an original mod menu too. Both are on my bucket list for 2019. Congrats on the killer app, and to e1 who contributed cheats. You guys really are Gods.

The app has subtitles in French, and I got rid of settings, just install newest app version, my hack, respring and you can find films and TV in both languages. (Or at least have translations at bottom)

Redid it from scratch. Found out this app really has a field day with ur personal info. I’m blocking it from taking ur phone number which I believe they are selling to telemarketers (had 2 random calls shortly after the upgrade, and found where they use java to hide jacking ur info.) Anyways I’ll keep looking for more security issues with it. I think I’m going to stick to CotoMovies until I investigate further tho. My tweak has added security / privacy but I wouldn’t consider it complete for now. Anyways it’s working great with latest app update on my 8+ 11.3.1, let me know if anyone has issues. I took a little more time with this build, hopefully good on all devices. Just download the new file from first page after updating app in Cydia.

I’m going to make a new version that doesn’t mess with any of the initialization hooks. The new update breaks it on my device, which was working perfectly b4 on 11.3.1, and fairly well on iPad 9.3.5.... Anyways to anyone reading this don’t update yet if it’s working for you. Update will break it. Will have new version up soon for latest app version, and hopefully fix the crashes some users experienced.
