iPad 2 might be your issue. It's perhaps too weak to handle the hack, the hack's security and the app all at the same time.

Log in and log out of your Game Center from settings for it to integrate with the app.

The file is 2GB if I recall, so it might take 30 minutes as you say. If not longer depending on your device and PC.

Some tweak on your device is causing an error with the game thus leading to a crash. You will need to find the problematic tweak and uninstall it.

Reinstall the app and when asked to restore, select no. You may want to make a new GC account or open the GC app and remove anything LDOE related.
