It’s a known issue, we’ll be fixing it soon! For now just remove/comment out the openURL part of the code. -
If you use rsync, no. It will preserve permissions. As will the theos tar archive as long as you extract it with the correct options.

You could alternatively install theos dependencies. And when it comes to cloning, do so on your PC and then use rsync to copy it to your iDevice. Thus skipping the use of git. Also, you could use my theos once dependencies are Installed, just extract it. You know where to get it.

Which git version are you using? From which repo? Also, is your device time correct?
