I cannot help you regarding this. The internet should have enough tutorials on how you can install it. You can also Trial & Error.

Which debugserver are you using? Make sure it's a version that works well and supports your current iOS version.

I believe 6.8 also has the Mac version. I remember using that on my VM Mac and it worked fine.

I think the Mac version is only available on IDA 7.0 and lower from that topic.
