Hello, This should not be happening unless you have installed the previous app via Sideloadly or a different store. In this case, you may have to remove it and install the App+ version and then you should be able to continue updating/overwriting via App+ without problem.

This is a known issue with CSR2 which is being worked on.

Perhaps Apple thought iPads were better with the gestures, or they moved it under Accessibility perhaps? It may be something that can be done about it if you Jailbreak, but stock iOS seems unlikely.

If you go to Home Screen & Dock -> Multitasking -> Gestures & turn it off, it does not work?
