    Hello! When an iDevice is 16GB, usually, the free space we get is ~ 10 - 12GB. I have 12GB storage on my "16GB" iPad. Maybe that's how much space you had even before upgrading? There is no external memory cards for iDevices..

    That works too but the player will still take up the space and if you hover your mouse over it, you can pause/ play the music.
