I haven't tried it at all but if it works for some then it should work for all. If you can't get it working, try thinning your binary using this tutorial. Also included on the first post ^^

Nothing should change except the things you change. For security though, I suggest you fully backup the device 2 times. So in case something goes wrong, you have the other backup.

Can iBackupBot modify the iTunes Backup then you can restore the backup from iTunes itself with the modification?
