I think you may need to use a adblocking VPN like AdGuard or DNSCloak. These are what I know of, perhaps other users have other useful information!

Are you using Dopamine jailbreak? They seem to have an issue with hooks right now from our experience.

We're working on bringing it back so check back frequently. Sadly, Apple is not making it any easier.

I just tested on palera1n rootless and it works fine for me. Using iGameGod "Normal Install". I suspect you have an issue with your jailbreak and restoring rootFS and rejailbreaking may help.
