Guide [Android] How to back-up your modded save to Google Play

iYodah has a pretty decent guide on how to back up saves for iOS, although I believe his modded method doesn't back up to Game Center.

If you already have a legit account, and just want a few coins to add onto your account, then this is useful for you!

This does NOT require root access of your device.

This guide will tell you: How to back up modded data on the default LDoE application. Give you insight on how save syncing works.

You will need: ES Explorer application.

 

Hidden Content

- Start a new character on the official application, and back it up using Google Play.

- Open up ES Explorer, go to internal storage, android.

- In each of the 'data' and 'obb' folders there will be a folder named 'zombie.survival.craft.z' rename this to 'buzombie.survival.craft.z'

- Once you've renamed the save, uninstall the official application

- Install a modded application, and launch a new character on it.

- Go back into ES Explorer, delete the folders in both 'data' and 'obb' named 'zombie.survival.craft.z'

- Rename the folders 'buzombie.survival.craft.z' to 'zombie.survival.craft.z'

- Launch the application, cheat as much as you want, do what you want to do to your account.

- Rename the 'zombie.survival.craft.z' to 'buzombie.survival.craft.z'

- Uninstall the modded APK, and install the official LDoE application.

- Launch the game and restore your progress. Delete 'zombie.survival.craft.z' in ES Explorer again.

- Rename 'buzombie.survival.craft.z' to 'zombie.survival.craft.z'

- Lauch the official LDoE application again and voila, make sure it says 'disconnect' on the settings. This means that the save has been uploaded to the server and your data is synced.

 

And that's it! You're now running a legit save, modified on the official LDoE application.

 

You may encounter some bugs which can be sorted with a few restarts but the main one to look out for is 'Cannot connect to the internet' or something along the lines of that. This means you either went wrong somewhere or the modded apk you used is out of date, or the save may be corrupt. In which case, just repeat the steps with the appropriate corrections.

If you do this for a second or third time and something goes wrong with your save, don't forget you always have the save synced from the first time you done it.
