I think for Ver 2.0 of the Theme Color Gradient, I might remove the border, cause it looks cleaner. Also, for the Background Gradient, it won't look that colorful, since the opacity will be lowered for better UX. I may consider making a saturated cover so that it'll give you a better idea of what it would actually look like in-game.

I think this could work. But i would keep the black background, and apply the gradient to the border of the menu. the text color would also be in line with the gradient  thanks for the clarification! I want to keep the menu true to the ps3/xbox 360 mod menus I based it off of.
