Hack iOS 8-10 Lockscreen Suite Tweak

Current Tweak Version: 1.0.3-1

(Added check to make sure device is compatible with TouchID, so old devices don't have to worry about accidentally turning on "Biometric Only.")

Hack Features:

1.) Biometric Only- Restrict opening your device to just fingerprint, no option to enter passcode. (By pressing home or sliding to unlock/ enter passcode.)

2.) No "Touch ID Or Passcode" Text. Custom blur based on album artwork of media player's current song.

3.) NoLockscreenCam- Restrict access to camera and camera roll when your device is locked. Individual feature available by itself on BigBoss Repo.

4.) Hide Media Player while playing music.

5.) Always show media player and controls, even when no song is playing. Will continue playing whatever song was last playing when stopped, from whatever app it was played from. Can skip, add to library in Spotify, like songs, etc.

6.) Delay Idle Sleep for 5 Minutes, or until unlocked or sleep button hit.

Use this feature to check GPS/ Maps without unlocking.

7.) Hide Status Bar Time

8.) Add Custom Text For Either "Press Home To Unlock" or "Slide To Unlock.", whichever is natively supported by your iOS version.

9.) Hide entire dateview (date and time so ur wallpaper shows full screen) but show time in status bar.

Hide from NC on LS iOS 10 as well.

10.) Make Colors Change in NC, App Switcher, Spotlight, and More.

Additional features include changing string colors to all black, hiding strings in Lockscreen (like Emergency Call, "Delete" etc.), hiding or showing LS status bar time, and more. Fully compatible with iOS 10, IOS 9 has one feature not quite functional yet, iOS 7-8 has 2 features that need updating, but none will brick ur device if it's not the right iOS for feature, it just doesn't work yet. Will soon have all features compatible with iOS 8-10.x.

Installation: Download .deb file, save to folder in Filza, tap it to install, respring, then go to settings to enable features you want. All settings defaults are "off".

Warning

After 5 Failed Biometric Attempts Device Will Require a Passcode- there is no time constraint, it's not the same as failed passcode attempts where you get locked out up to forever. If this happens though, you may have to reboot and rejailbreak before you can use device again.

Tips

If You Keep Siri Enabled On Your Lockscreen (In Main Settings), You Can Use Command "Launch/Open Settings (or any app)", then Siri will let you enter your passcode. Also, there's a new tweak called CCDataMore in Cydia that lets you turn on cellular data from Control Center (the menu when you slide up from bottom). If you turn off wifi and cellular data before you put your device down, Siri will be disabled that way (for more privacy), and most people won't think or know how to turn on cellular data/ wifi from LS to enable Siri. You can then re-enable Siri by using control center if you encounter the failed biometric attemps issue and need to enter passcode.

If you follow the Tip(s), you shouldn't ever get locked out of your device, or need to reboot/ rejailbreak to get back in. I keep the biometric only setting on and haven't had to reboot/ rejailbreak since I made it. (Although I did lock myself out a couple times when developing it. Only took 2 minutes to reboot and rejailbreak each time though so no harm no foul.)

Disclaimer: Tweak works. Tested on iOS 8, 9 and 10 on 3 separate devices. You have been warned about 5 failed biometric attempts. This is not something that can be hacked as it is part of secure enclave. Biometric option only for 64 bit devices, iPhone 5s and higher.

This is an on-going project I'm working on. Will add other features in near future, have several I've figured out on one or two iOS versions but not all yet and I want tweak compatible with each iOS version listed above. (8.0-10.x)

Glad you guys like it. Check out the "tips" section I added. There's a new tweak that lets you turn on cellular data from LS, that complements this nicely.

Thanks.. I've gotten addicted to learning how to make better tweaks. I still have a long way to go, but yeah I've come a long way since first installing theos.

Updated tweak adding some useful features (to me at least). I use this tweak every day with different settings on at different times.

For any mods reading this- sorry for bumping an old thread. Just added code for the new features, and extra code to support older firmwares. I tested on 3 devices, and wanted to share update without starting a new thread. I know that many features aren't new concepts, but I find them useful together and hopefully some others will too.

PS- No bashing the music selections lol they were the first ones that came on when I hit "play". ?
