For your next one, try adding a few more layers to make it more realistic. Like "bricks" in the castle walls with a bit of a shadow as well

Also, the sun needs to be changed a bit. I would suggest moving it to the corner with only. part of it visible and making it bright white without edges. just show it white at the core and moving towadds blue outward. Or reddish orange for sunset.

The sky is rarely ever purely blue and needs some variation (like clouds)

Looks great for your first design! :)

I have a few suggestiosn though:

-The door seems to have more detail than the rest of the castle, so I suggest you have a consistant amount of detail throughout the gfx.

-Since it is flat design try not to put a lot of detail in it, try minimalistic designs.

-The background is alright, but instead of having a straight line between the ground and the sky I suggest you have some hills or mountains.

-Try fixing the small errors with color and placement of shapes.

As I said above it is really good for a first design, it's better than my first design. :D

I hope to see more of your work.

Keep these suggestions in mind for future projects.

Hi!

This is looking really good, but to improve it, I would suggest that you:

- Skip the black

The flag poles could be silver like metal for example, and those lines on the door, they could perhaps be a darker brown.

Black really cuts through everything and sticks out way too much, and does not really fit in.

- Patterns/Texture

Instead of having just a plain blue sky and green grass, perhaps add some kind of pattern to it to make them fit in more.

A good idea would be adding something @StrangePickle mentioned as well, mountains, cliffs, trees, something to hide the cut a bit.

Maybe more bricks on the castle.

- Shapes

You should try not use use as sharp edges as you are, right now, everything is made out of squares and triangles, except for the sun.

If you take this tip and use it with the previous tip, you could for example do a texture for the grass or sky (e.g clouds) that are not made out of squares and triangles.

- Colors

All the red parts in this image are the exact same color, #C2082D.

Try using different shades of red, to implement a bit of "depth of field", or simply to have some variety as it is flat art.
