Tutorial How to Apply a Custom Respring Logo

This is a tutorial on how to apply a custom image / logo as your respring logo.

Some info:

- Works on iOS 9
- Logo size depends on your iDevice's screen
- Should be .png
- Not tested with a .gif

Requirements:

- Jailbroken iDevice
- Winterboard / Anemone
- iFile / Filza / WinSCP


Tutorial:

Make your image / logo and download it to your iDevice, you can upload it to dropbox, mediafire, etc. with your PC and download it through your iDevice, or just use programs like WinSCP to do it through your PC.

1. Go to:

/Library/Themes/

2. Make a new folder with any name, ending with ".theme".

3. Inside of that folder, make another one called "Bundles".

4. Inside of Bundles, make another folder called "com.apple.Progress.UI".

5. Put your logo there and make 4 copies of it, you should have 5 duplicates of the logo in there.

6. Rename them to these names:

apple-logo@2x
apple-logo@2x~iphone
apple-logo@2x-iphoneapple-logo-black@2x
apple-logo-black@2x~iphone

7. Go to Winterboard / Anemone and enable your theme.

8. Respring.

That's it!

Depends on device and logo, I use ~300x150 for my logo as it's like a rectangle, and I dont want it to be to be big (it's pretty small), iPhone 5.

 

If you put the image file in Filza and click on it, it will show how big it is compared to your device, but if it's bigger than your device, maybe it will zoom it out, not sure.

It didn't work for. Is it supposed to be a .png after all the files?
