The current situation with my phone

So last night DiDA and I were trying to kick my phone out of its bootloop. It didn't work, and by the time I gave up it was already 10:30 PM. My phone was still bootlooping and I just accepted the fact that I was going to lose my jailbreak for it.

 

I go to my room, plug my phone to charge, and go do the cats/litter, (I have to put the cats in the basement because they wake us up during the night) then I gave my controller to my dad. I told him that I was not going to give him my phone tonight because for some reason it was bootlooping and I had to restore it. He said no because I would be exhaused the next day. I think to myself, whatever, I'll just wake up 15 minutes earlier to restore my phone so I have it for school. I sleep the mac, plug my phone into charge, and go to sleep.

 

The next morning, I wake up and check my phone to see if its still bootlooping. But instead of bootlooping like I expected it to be, it was completely off. I went to pick it up to inspect it and it was freezing cold. Thinking to myself that maybe it somehow shifted in place and stopped charging I put it back on the charger but it wouldn't charge. I tried to hard reset it but it wouldn't work. I tried to put it into recovery mode but it wouldn't work. I tried DFU and it wouldn't work. My computer and iTunes don't recognize it, and ssh over usb won't work. Even now it is still stone cold. Guys, I think my phone is completely bricked. Like actually as useless as a brick.

 

I don't know if I'll continue to be able to hack. This iPod that I'm using right now cannot keep two safari tabs running at the same time for over thirty seconds. I'll try my best but I don't know.

 

tl;dr couldn't restore last night so now my phone is bricked.

    Did you do anything to the phone after we stopped talking? You were going to uninstall mobilesubstrate? How did that go?

     

    Also, can you maybe try a different USB Cable or Wall Outlet? :/

     

    And can't Apple replace a broken device? :s

    We can still help you produce hacks. We can crack the game and send you the binary. You can give someone like DiDA the offsets and let them compile it. Then, you release. :p

    I uninstalled mobilesubstrate successfully. But the phone was still looping. I've already tried three different cables and two different outlets + all the usb ports on my mac.

     

    They'll have to replace it.

        📖 PC Installation Instructions

        STEP 1: Download the pre-hacked .IPA file from the link above to your computer. To download from the iOSGods App, see our iOSGods App IPA Download Tutorial which includes a video example.
        STEP 2: Download Sideloadly and install it on your Windows or Mac.
        STEP 3: Open Sideloadly on your computer, connect your iOS device, and wait until your device name appears in Sideloadly.
        STEP 4: Once your iDevice is recognized, drag the modded .IPA file you downloaded and drop it into the Sideloadly application.
        STEP 5: Enter your Apple Account email, then press “Start.” You’ll then be asked to enter your password. Go ahead and provide the required information.
        STEP 6: Wait for Sideloadly to finish sideloading/installing the hacked IPA. If there are issues during installation, please read the note below.
        STEP 7: Once the installation is complete and you see the app on your Home Screen, you will need to go to Settings -> General -> Profiles / VPN & Device Management. Once there, tap on the email you entered from step 6, and then tap on 'Trust [email protected]'.
        STEP 8: Now go to your Home Screen and open the newly installed app and everything should work fine. You may need to follow further per app instructions inside the hack's popup in-game.

        NOTE: iOS/iPadOS 16 and later, you must enable Developer Mode. For free Apple Developer accounts, you will need to repeat this process every 7 days.
