An new sub-rank named tryers , this people test all kinds of hacks / tweaks on IOS GODS and tell us if they are working or not, to tell us using an tryer tool, they can mark topics and saying if its working , or not,

maybe something like this :::

The Like [voting up] or Thanks button should only be the choices in revealling/unlocking hidden contents, commenting should not be included. The comment/reply section should be an information if the thread [hacks/cheats/patches] works or not or if links are dead, that way the person who reads the thread knows important details of the thread. Not just pure 'Thanks' or 'Is this working?' or some crap reply to reveal the hidden content.

Yeah, this has been a big issue here. Usually, to see the hidden content, you would need to reply to the topic. There was no other way until I added the thanks button which allowed users to reveal hidden content without replying but the downside to that is that it does not support mobile skin. So the mobile users are forced to reply to topics in order to unlock the content.

 

I have found something else which can unlock the hidden content by using the UpVote button but it's not an official hook and I wasn't sure how well it would work for us since the hook was paid and developed by a Romanian so we kept the Thanks button to prevent spamming as much as possible.

I believe that rating profiles should be deleted or available only to higher members of the community (measured in either post count, 'thanks' or reputation). That's my suggestion

Yeah, I guess it'll be worth spending a few for that feature.

 

A newer version of IPB is coming though so we should probably wait for that before doing anything.
