Help/Support iPad Air 2 on iOS 9.3.3 Stuck on Activation Lock

Tried, same results. Does iTools or the other program that you use have any option for Activation Locks?

iirc the only way to fix this is restore. I read some articles about this before you should delete the setup.app in /Application/ before going to replace the battery

Probably won’t work, but if you can deploy apps with XCode in that state, deploy your jailbreak app that auto runs the jailbreak code on launch so it runs the code and JBs for SSH.

@DADi devices on iOS 9.3.X and lower can no longer be activated, and require an update a newer iOS version to be able to be used

It's been a thing for around an year and a half I think. 

The topic was popular on reddit because many people couldn't reactivate their devices after it randomly locked them out
