  1. Been waiting for a few days .... Learning to hack will take you longer than a few days.

Just wait it out, someone will release a hack.

If it was as simple as people make out then why haven't they made it already.

  2. The simple answer is "No"

I have personally been through this whole process, yes I got my iPhone 4 Jailbroken after removing the "settings.app" but it is not easy, I made a massive In depth tutorial way back when iPhone 4 was the best thing since sliced bread, this method no longer works.

"I had to go in to the device settings and Add my iCloud account.

Send a Message to it from iCloud then erase/wipe device REMOTELY and then remove device from iCloud.

iPhone rebooted in to : inactive state ..... Restored device to 7.1.1

When restore was complete I popped  in the SIM and activated the phone !!!"

i can can provide the whole tutorial but none of the links work as the files are no longer available, the whole method is old and dated ....

OK so lets start with :

    What you need :

    iphone4carrier Files :

    TinyUmbrella :

    ssh_rd_rev04b-iphone4-reva.jar :

Download all these to your desktop for easy access -- DOWNLOAD FILES :

    https://www.sendspace.com/file/b5r2x4

    Lets begin :

1 : First thing we need to do is RESTORE the device to 7.1.1 , you said this is not possible ?

    Enter DFU Mode :

    Turn your iPhone off.

Hold down the Power and Home buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds (exactly).

Release the Power button but keep holding down Home until iTunes generates a message informing you that an iPhone in recovery mode has been detected.

While in DFU mode, your iPhone screen will be completely black.

If you see any Apple icons or logos, this means that your phone is not in DFU mode but recovery mode.

2 : Connect to iTunes and restore the device to : 7.1.1

3 : Upon Restore remove device from PC , do not let iTunes detect that its LOCKED.

Be sure there is : No SIM , No WiFi < ----- very important.

    4 : Launch Shh_rd_rev04b_iphone4-RevA.

    5 : When Shh_rd has launched , connect to Localhost port 2022.

    USER : root

    PASSWORD : alpine

6 : Once Shh_rd loads the connection open the terminal window and run : Mount.sh

7 : Get to the ROOT and locate : mnt1/applications

8 : BACKUP the folder called : Setup.app (Just in case we need it later) once a backup is made go ahead and delete : Setup.app from the device.

9 : Go back another folder and copy the : mnt1 and mnt2 folders (Just a backup in case we need them)

10 : Restart the iPhone , it will boot up in : Recovery Mode , Use TinyUmbrella to kick the device from recovery mode.

You should now have BYPASSED , however ..... iTunes will still ask for Apple ID : SO DO NOT CONNECT TO ITUNES !!!

Very important that you do not connect to iTunes at this stage !!!!

    NOW ......

11 : Again place the device in to : DFU Mode.

    12 : Reconnect to the Shh_rd Tool and run : mount.sh (again).

13 : Navigate to : /mnt2/root/Library/ Place the Cache folder here.

14 : In the same folder as above , place the : Lockdown folder.

15 : Add the : device_private_key to the lockdown folder.

16 : Now navigate to : /mnt1/usr/libexec and place the lockdown folder here.

17 : Restart the device and iTunes should greet you with : Welcome to your new iPhone.

    NO SIM YET !!!!

18 : Connect the device to your WiFi.

19 : Go in to the device settings Add your iCloud account.

20 : Send a Message to it from iCloud then erase/wipe device REMOTELY and then remove device from iCloud.

21 : iPhone will reboot in to : inactive state ..... Restore device to 7.1.1

22 : When restore is complete pop in your SIM and you should be set !!!

As I said this may not work anymore.

Edit : My link still works

  3. Ssh into the device with iFunbox and change the "Application" folder permissions to 0775

    Restore :

You have lost the ability to install via Cydia, this means You can not use Cydia Eraser, for 9.3.3 this is the only option as Semi-restore only supports 9.1.

To restore you would need iTunes, this will lose all data and JB

    Did you try :

    General/Reset/Reset Homescreen Layout

  4. Kecil v4.0

    Vinilo v1.2

    Lux v1.3

    Nux Black v1.0

    Biscuit v1.7

    Marshmallows v1.0

    Muffin v1.2

i can hook you up with a forum that provides most of the paid themes in the video above for free all .deb downloads.

  5. The IAP hacks are nothing like free Cydia, What we download from the Appstore is from Apples little crappy community, What we download from Cydia is from our awesome Jailbreak community.

We don't steal from our own.

  6. Looks like you still have Preference files left over for "BetterShutDown"

Open iFile, if you don't have it get it or Filza

Search through the system files and delete "EVERYTHING" you see that is related to "BetterShutDown"

When you have used iFile/Filza to remove anything related to the BetterShutDown tweak run "iCleaner".

iCleaner will attempt to respring the device, let it do so but when it resprings wait for device to show lockscreen then reboot the device.

Re-Boot, Re-enable Jailbreak and see if we still have an issue.

  7. How bout you guys just get an idevice with 128 gb

How about we all just leave this topic seen as none of us need it, its here for users who have filled the system partition and can not install tweaks.

This is for 8, 16 and 32GB Device users who did not keep track of the partition they needed to keep clean.

  8. How To Free Up Alot Of Space In The System Partition

You should only need to do this if your "System Partition" is full or nearly full.

    IMAGE : iCleaner Partition's

    333xuv7.png

    Requirements:

    -Jailbroken iDevice
-Access to FileSystem (iFile, iFunBox, iTools, etc.)

This is more like a list of directories and files which are large, and don't need to be used.

List is in an order of largest files at top and smaller files at the bottom.

This helps free space up for Cydia tweaks.

    /Library/Dictionaries

You can delete the weird Japanese sounding ones and the Oxford ones too.

Or if you want to keep them all, you can paste them in /var partition and put a link in that directory.

    /System/Library/Audio

I think you can delete all of it, but I just pasted it in /var partition and linked it.

    /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/VoiceServices.framework and /System/Library/VoiceServices

You can delete any weird language things in there that you don't use.

DON'T DELETE THE WHOLE THING THOUGH!!!

    /Library/Audio

You can move this folder to /var partition and link it.

    /System/Library/CoreServices/AssistiveTouch.app

You can delete this if you don't use Assistive Touch

    /System/Library/Obliteration

    You can delete this folder.

    /System/Library/PreferenceBundles

You can delete stuff like data and SearchSettings, if you don't use them.

You can delete Twitter and stuff, but you must remove them from your Settings or General.plist or esle your Preferences app will always crash.

    /System/Library/CoreServices/Springboard.app

You can delete images, like the Apple Flare logo and stuff.

And like Newsstand Stuff if you use like NoNewsIsGoodNews.

    [syscleanpro does this]

    /System/Library/CoreServices/Springboard.app

You can delete all language packs (lproj) that you don't use.

    /System/Library/Fonts

You can copy them into /var partition and link them there.

[if you have alot of Zeppelin themes]

    /Library/Zeppelin

You can move this folder to the /var partition and link it.

    [ADVANCED USERS ONLY]

    /System/Library/Frameworks and /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks

You can delete stuff in here that you don't use, but be careful as it may put your device into a boot loop and you may have to restore.

    TIP:

To link in iFile, first cut the folder(s) and/or file(s) and paste it in the /var directory (anywhere really in there) and then click on it again and click copy.

Then go back to the original directory and click Create Link right under Paste.

  9.

(The maximum number of apps for free development profiles has been reached.)

It's because of what it says.

You can only install 3 apps per day with a free development account.

    You have reached your limit.

    Try again tomorrow.
