So I updated to the Windows 10 Enterprise Edition last night and I've been testing out their new browser.
What I've noticed so far is that the layout is really simple and very clean.
I personally think that this layout is a lot more clean than the other browsers, but that's just me.
It kinda gives it an iOS feeling to it. Or just for me?
When you download something, it looks like this.
Pretty simple.
Now, my biggest gripe about this browser is that if you're playing a video on YouTube (as background noise or simply music), and you minimize the page.... The video stops. It pauses if you have the page minimized. That's something that's throwing me off and hopefully they fix it in the future updates.
There's some other small little issues here and there with other sites like imgur. When I click "browse your computer", nothing happens. I sometimes have to shrink the page to a smaller size just to be able to open the folders to select a picture.
Another small issue was that when I tried to look at images on Google, and I would click on the image... The images wouldn't open. Then a few seconds later I would try again and it would work. Small little bugs that'll be fixed in the future.
Overall, I think that this browser has a lot of potential. It's fast, smooth, and clean.
I already prefer this over Firefox. But we'll see whenever the final version comes out.
Have any of you tried out Project Spartan? If so, what do you think of it? Do you think it has potential to compete with Chrome and Firefox?
