Unless you are effected by the bugs don’t update unless it’s a forced update.

AppCake should allow you do download older versions. If not then there are apps similar to AppCake.

Some small updates like the current 3.2.5 are not forced updates so unless you are affected by a bug that the update fixes do not update the game till the hack has been updated to the new version.

Custom damage only works when 10x gold is not active.
