I myself work as a freelance artist, but I've been requested do couple big projects down in the city; Manhattan. If you even do choose to work for a company you'll have a flow of constant work but due on schedule, but I never worked company wise, So I that's about all I can say. Freelance, you work when you want, set times do as you please.( I wrote this little paragraph for you guys to see which ever path you choose you can still benefit from it. )

Cinema 4D is meant for making and bulding 3D models Like Illistrator I never used before, But I've seen some videos. It's not as gooood. But you can still make work with it.
