  1. The firmware is just another name for the system software version. To check the your current firmware go to Settings>System>System settings and it is the System Software. If you have a ps4 on a low enough update you don’t need to buy anything, it’s all done from loading a webpage very similar to the new ps3 exploit.
  2. The ps4 mods are based on a WebKit exploit and needs to be reapplied each time after restarting the system. To get started you need a PS4 with Firmware 5.05 or lower once you have that you load the webpage for the exploit select the options you’d like to use click the button to run the exploit and start enjoying homebrew.

  5. Hello & thanks for such an informative site. So a little about myself & how I ended up on iosgods. I’m pink1, I’ve been around the Playstation scene for years so I’ve been into modding for awhile. I started playing with jail breaking my phone when the jailbreak for 11.1.2 came out then stopped. A few days ago I started messing with it again & while searching for info ended up here.
