  1. You didn't rename anything else to .bak extension? Try a reboot now
  2. I don't see any difference in Launchservices-120.csstore file?? Did you rename that one? Rename the com.apple.mobile.installation.plist.bak to com.apple.mobile.installation.plist then reboot. mv "com.apple.mobile.installation.plist.bak" "com.apple.mobile.installation.plist"
  3. Now you're inside the Caches folder so run the rest of the commands.
  4. Redo it again and type 'Caches' with a capital 'C'. Caches
  5. Try renaming the file via Terminal. cd /var/mobile/Library/Caches then type in ls to view all the files/folders in the Caches folder. Once you see the file you renamed before, type in: mv "com.apple.xxxxxx.csstore" "OriginalFileNameBeforeYouModifiedIt.csstore" This will rename the file back to what it was. Then type in reboot in terminal to reboot your device.
  6. Jesus. You don't even have APT installed. This is the last option I can think of: Run this in terminal so it brings back the icons hopefully: su -c uicache mobile or just uicache
  7. Same was I wrote it above. No extra spaces or anything? Send me a screenshot here
  8. Which terminal did you use? Did you run it as root?
  9. Even if I did do something to your PC, you'd still find me here. Run this in PuTTY Terminal or on iFunbox SSH Terminal: apt-get install com.saurik.afc2d
  10. Teamviewer lets me control your computer so I can help you fix the problem. You can download it from here: http://www.teamviewer.com/en/download/windows.aspx Install it and open it then send me your ID & Pass displayed on the main window of Teamviewer via PM.
  11. You can install it by running this in Terminal as root: apt-get install com.saurik.afc2d Do you have Teamviewer installed? You can send me your ID via PM and I'll be able to help you.
  12. Same place you found it in iFile. The Raw file system tab and then /var/mobile/Library/Caches/ If you don't see the above folder, you don't have Apple File Conduit 2 installed.
  13. Hello Dominique! Welcome to iOSGods! Hope you'll enjoy your stay here.
  14. Hotsjf is an amazing and very friendly guy! I'm glad I met him.
  15. Try installing the beta one from getdelta.co repo. To bring back the icons connect the device via USB to your PC and use iFunbox to browse the filesystem and rename the file back to it's original name. Hopefully you had Apple File Conduit "2" installed. If not, you can also fix this via PuTTY with OpenSSH installed.
  16. Nice but another Micromon cheat?
  17. It should be but some members complained that the download wouldn't start. Give it a try!
  18. Hi, Read the rules so you don't get into any trouble. I have edited your post. Enjoy your stay!
  19. That's not supposed to happen. Tried it on my phone also but the icons were still there. Reboot again and where did you install Flex 2 from?
  20. Just rename the first one and do a hard reboot (home + power button for 10 seconds)
  21. Try renaming these two files to something else: /var/mobile/Library/Caches/com.apple.LaunchServices-056.csstore and /var/mobile/Library/Caches/com.apple.mobile.installation.plist rename them to com.apple.mobile.installation.plist.bak & reboot your iDevice. This will rearrange all your home screen icons...
  22. Can you reinstall UIKit Tools from Cydia & reboot?
  23. Hey! Did one of the methods you tried on your iFile problem help with flex? http://iosgods.com/topic/2549-help-ifile-wont-show-on-my-springboard-after-installing/
  24. Display Recorder has been updated to v1.3.14 which supports iOS 8 but costs $4.99. You can also try RecordMyScreen but I'm not sure if it works on iOS 8. Edit: You can also try iRec (works on iOS 8) https://www.google.com/url?q=http://iosgods.com/topic/1148-irec-ios-78-free-screen-recorder-no-jailbreak/&sa=U&ei=VPxoVODaL8a2mQWj_oHoCw&ved=0CAYQFjAA&client=internal-uds-cse&usg=AFQjCNHRex8dFzn1_vzpvjnBXBec57xwFA Or Shou app: https://www.google.com/url?q=http://iosgods.com/topic/2055-tutorial-how-to-broadcast-or-record-your-idevices-screen-no-jailbreak/&sa=U&ei=XfxoVKf7MubOmwXsl4G4AQ&ved=0CAYQFjAA&client=internal-uds-cse&usg=AFQjCNFSvd104SH7nCunVnNrbr_2PnvXDQ
