There's nothing complicated about it. Example: 1. Grab the Binary and paste it in /var/mobile/ 2. Open Mobile Terminal and type in cd /var/mobile 3. Now type in the command in the first post but just replace <binaryname> with the binary you pasted in step 1 and <outputbinaryname> to anything you want the new file to be called.

There's no semi-jailbreak for iOS 8. Your best bet would be for someone else to login to your Game Center and hack it for you. That's what you get for not reading the notes.

It's an issue on their end. Most can access it fine and I do notice the comments on their Facebook page about their servers.

How can I tell you if your cable is faulty or not? You have to test that for yourself. Also try what Diiversityy suggested.
