You should start using Safari and iFile since AppCake has been updated, it no longer even supports .deb installations? Safari does download, you just need to wait for the file to download since there's no GUI telling you how far the download has gone.

Use Cyder 2 on Windows. Add the repo, refresh it, download the .deb to your PC.
