Help/Support How to duplicate apps using Cydia Impactor?

Hi, recently I have had a problem with cydia impactor, I’m aware of the problem and I know how to fix it but the problem is that I’m trying to side load Instagram++ through cydia impactor from my iMac and this error pops up, I know that I have to delete my original instagram, but I would like to keep both, I’ve done this before but now it isn’t working, is there anyway I can somewhat bypass this error screen so I may have two instagrams, thank you

Make an IPA of the original Instagram app. (Either crack it, or download from iTunes). Then locate inside .app folder and find 'Info.plist'

Open that file and find 

<key>CFBundleIdentifier</key>
<string>com.burbn.instagram</string>

Change the com.burbn.instagram to anything else, like com.burbn.instagram2

Save the changes, and install your IPAs through Cydia Impactor

Make sure you delete the currently installed Intagram app, so you can install ++ and have the original as duplicate.

 

Alternatively, I think you can do the same for ++ IPA, so you don't need to go through hassle of getting the original IPA.

this does not work, you will always run into some sort of error, or get stuck on preflighting application. from my understanding there is some sort of signing issue that is preventing the app from being signed and installed and i have not figured out a way to get around this. if anyone else has please let me know.
