    Ipad mini 2 Jail broken on IOS 9.0.1 Pangu - Cydia/Ifilza/OpenSSH/Appsync installed.

    I set a 4 digit pin the other day as I visited a relative and didn't want their children accessing my Ipad, unfortunately iv'e forgotten the 4 digit pass code, I have searched the forum for solutions but there are mixed results and information which is all over the place with random comments which i'm struggling to understand. So far I have managed to install " PuTTy & WinSCP " giving me full access the Ipad's file system as " IFunBox " would not allow me to access any files and secondly the computer has already been trusted. 

    I must advise all that I do not wish to restore the Ipad, I only want to remove the 4 digit pass code from the home screen, also I never enabled Siri as I have read on some sites that a method was found to unlock screen but this is not an option for me. All help and support will be greatly appreciated, Thank you

    last time I read something about it, it was stored into the keychain. But I think that’s changed long time ago, back then you could delete keychain - reboot & done. 

     

    You could try on reddit/jailbreak...

    I’ve had the same issue and I believe I installed a tweak via SSH to allow infinite passcode attempts to hopefully guess it eventually.

    All passcode removal tweaks no longer work.

    An alternative could be to reset your device via iCloud?

    Thank you for your reply but I already mentioned in my post that I have no wish to restore the Ipad, I only need a tweak so I can remove/reset the 4 digit pin. You mentioned a tweak for unlimited attempts, were can I find this and how would I go about installing this. Thanks

    There is a way, it works. My friends PI firm uses it. But it Cost a Lot!

    Google “Elcomsoft iOS Forensic Toolkit” , saved my iDevices several times.

     

    Apple option, but you are likely to loose your JB https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204306

     

    oh yeah, all apple product password or passcode are always recorded in “keychain” if you can access your iPad root folders, should be in var some where. Delete that keychain file.

    you are in that similar case of iPhone passcode lock for a crime went on national tv, FBI went over beyonders to get it unlocked.

        STEP 4: Open/Run Sideloadly on your computer, connect your iOS Device, and wait until your device name shows up.

        📖 iOS Installation Instructions

        STEP 1: Download the .deb hack file from the link above. Use Safari, Google Chrome or other iOS browsers to download.
        STEP 2: Once the file has downloaded, tap on it and then you will be prompted on whether you want to open the deb with iGameGod or copy it to Filza.
        STEP 3: If needed, tap on the downloaded file again, then select ‘Normal Install’ from the options on your screen.
        STEP 4: Let iGameGod/Filza finish the cheat installation. If it doesn’t install successfully, see the note below.
        STEP 5: Open the game, log in to your iOSGods account when asked, then toggle on the features you want and enjoy!

        📖 PC Installation Instructions

        STEP 1: Download the pre-hacked .IPA file from the link above to your computer. To download from the iOSGods App, see our iOSGods App IPA Download Tutorial which includes a video example.
        STEP 2: Download Sideloadly and install it on your Windows or Mac.
        STEP 3: Open Sideloadly on your computer, connect your iOS device, and wait until your device name appears in Sideloadly.
        STEP 4: Once your iDevice is recognized, drag the modded .IPA file you downloaded and drop it into the Sideloadly application.
        STEP 5: Enter your Apple Account email, then press “Start.” You’ll then be asked to enter your password. Go ahead and provide the required information.
        STEP 6: Wait for Sideloadly to finish sideloading/installing the hacked IPA. If there are issues during installation, please read the note below.
        STEP 7: Once the installation is complete and you see the app on your Home Screen, you will need to go to Settings -> General -> Profiles / VPN & Device Management. Once there, tap on the email you entered from step 6, and then tap on 'Trust [email protected]'.
        STEP 8: Now go to your Home Screen and open the newly installed app and everything should work fine. You may need to follow further per app instructions inside the hack's popup in-game.

        STEP 2: Download the pre-hacked .IPA file from the link above to your computer. To download from the iOSGods App, see this tutorial topic.
        STEP 3: Download Sideloadly and install it on your PC.
        STEP 4: Open/Run Sideloadly on your computer, connect your iOS Device, and wait until your device name shows up.
        STEP 5: Once your iDevice appears, drag the modded .IPA file you downloaded and drop it inside the Sideloadly application.
